Mason UR Promotion

Mason is one of the first heroes in Last War: Survival who can be promoted to UR (Ultra Rare) in Season 1.

This promotion significantly improves Mason’s skills, stats, and overall effectiveness in combat – especially in siege situations and base defense roles.

✅ Requirements for UR Promotion:

Mason must have 5 stars
You need a UR token, which is unlocked on Day 8 of Season 1

💡 Tip: It’s especially helpful if Mason is already at Level 160 on the Wall of Honor. This allows you to immediately promote him back to 5 stars after the UR upgrade.

🕒 When should you promote Mason?

In general, your Wall of Honor level doesn’t matter for the promotion – the upgrade is always worth it
The best time to promote Mason is on Thursday, since the “Train Heroes” task is active in the VS Duel on that day. This way, you can earn a lot of extra points.

🔨 How should you promote Mason?

💡 Important: All fragments and skill medals are refunded after the UR promotion! You can use this to your advantage to gain additional points during events.

Make sure the “Hero Advancement” Arms Race event is currently running.
Use all of your skill medals on Mason.
Spend all your purple fragments on Mason – either to promote him to 5 stars or to level him up on the Wall of Honor.
Use the UR token to promote Mason.
Go to your in-game mail to collect the refunded fragments and skill medals.

🧠 After the UR Promotion

If Mason is part of your active squad:

Use purple fragments again to promote Mason back to 4 or 5 stars
(Note: The required number has doubled – 120 fragments per part for 4 stars, and 200 per part for 5 stars)
Spend any leftover fragments to level Mason up on the Honor Wall
Reinvest the refunded skill medals in Mason

If Mason is not part of your squad:

Use the skill medals to improve the main heroes in your primary squad and boost your overall combat power
